This page explains how to delete your account in Razzmatazz, the app published by Razzmatazz on the Apple App Store and Google Play, along with your data.
Before you delete: cancel your subscription
Deleting your account doesn’t cancel a subscription you bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Cancel it first so you aren’t charged again:
- iPhone or iPad: open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose Razzmatazz and tap Cancel Subscription.
- Android: open the Google Play Store app, tap your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions, choose Razzmatazz and tap Cancel subscription.
Subscriptions bought on our website are canceled automatically when your account is deleted.
Unused credits in your Personal workspace and in the workspaces you own, including credits from top-up packs, are forfeited when your account is deleted and can’t be refunded or restored, except where the law requires otherwise.
If you own shared workspaces, they’re deleted with your account, for everyone in them, along with their content and credits. Ownership can’t be passed to someone else yet, so let the people in them know first.
Delete your account in the app
- Open Razzmatazz and sign in.
- Go to Settings, then Account, then Delete account.
- Confirm. You’ll be signed out, and your account can’t be used again.
Delete your account by email
If you can’t use the app, email privacy@razzmatazz.ai from the email address on your account, with the subject line “Delete my account.” If you signed in with Apple using “Hide My Email,” send it from the address Apple forwards to, or tell us the private relay address. We may ask you to confirm the request with a code sent to your account email, so we know it’s really you.
What we delete
Within 30 days after you delete your account, we permanently delete:
- your account and sign-in information, and your profile photo;
- your Personal workspace and every workspace you own, with everything in them, for everyone in them;
- your memberships in other people’s workspaces;
- your characters, including their sheets, looks and wardrobes;
- your uploads, prompts, stories and generated videos and images;
- your connections to TikTok, Instagram or YouTube (we revoke our access right away) and the post links and metrics we received from them;
- your credit balance and usage history; and
- any other personal information connected to your account, except as described below.
Content you added to someone else’s workspace stays in that workspace, without your name or email attached, until its owner deletes it.
Deleted data is removed from our backups as they roll off, within a further 30 days. Content you already downloaded or posted on other platforms isn’t affected; delete it there if you want it gone.
What we keep
We keep a limited amount of information when the law requires it or when it’s needed for safety:
| Information | Why we keep it | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Purchase and transaction records | Tax and accounting laws | 7 years after the transaction |
| Credit records that aren’t linked to you (amounts and dates) | Accounting | As long as the related purchase records |
| Reports, moderation decisions and records of violations | To prevent abuse and meet legal obligations | As long as needed, up to 3 years unless the law requires longer |
| Consent records and arbitration opt-outs | To show what you agreed to | As long as the law requires |
| Information subject to a legal hold or active investigation | To comply with the law | Until the matter is resolved |
Our Privacy Policy has more detail about how long we keep information.
Delete some data without deleting your account
You can delete individual characters, uploads and generated videos or images in the app at any time: open the item and choose Delete.
To disconnect a TikTok, Instagram or YouTube account, go to Settings, then Connected accounts. We revoke our access right away and delete the information we received from that platform within 7 days. Videos you already posted stay on the platform until you delete them there. You can also revoke access from the platform itself: for Google and YouTube at Google’s security settings, and for Instagram and TikTok in the connected apps section of their settings. Deleted items are permanently removed from our live systems within 30 days, and from backups within a further 30 days. To ask us to delete other specific information, email privacy@razzmatazz.ai.
